Wombadah has around 1200 Olive trees. The grove is certified 'organic" by NAASA and so only natural products are used to fertilize the trees and manual labour used to tend and keep weeds to a minimum. The kangaroos on the property provide a good source of organic fertilizer! Some of the trees are starting to bear fruit and Wombadah is now producing small quantities of organic extra virgin olive oil which is used in the meals provided to guests. It is hoped that very soon Wombadah will produce sufficient quantities to sell at the guesthouse.
