The Environment
Wombadah is just five minutes from the centre of Mudgee situated amongst the major vineyards of the region. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wildlife, particularly birds and kangaroos, is plentiful. Our Olive Grove is organic and as a result, over the last few years we have seen an increase in birdlife (due to an increase in worms and insects). Wombadah produces organic olive oil.
As the property does not have access to town water or services Ray and Kaye have had installed an envirocycle system (approved by the department of health). As the name implies, the system is environmentally friendly and recycles all household wastewater and sewerage to standards that enable the output to be used to water plants and shrubs around the house.
